I enthusiastically endorse this lawyer. Russ is a highly skilled practitioner who cares deeply about his clients' success. He is also a pleasure to work with.
As the founder of Nesevich Law, LLC, Russ Nesevich ensures that clients have optimally planned to protect their families and their assets through all stages of life. He establishes lifetime plans to ensure that children are protected and provided for should anything happen to their parents. He also helps our clients preserve their wealth, minimize estate taxes, and pass their values on to future generations. He works with families to navigate the often complex laws of estate planning and identify the solutions that will best meet their needs. Russ is an award winning and engaging speaker and presenter and always makes himself available to speak to groups about all topics revolving around estate planning.
Prior to launching Nesevich Law, Russ and a partner founded the estate planning firm of Godorov & Nesevich, LLC which served families in New Jersey and Pennsylvania with Estate Planning, Business Succession Planning, and other related legal needs. Russ also spent thirteen years at Resource Securities, a firm that creates alternative investment products focusing on the real estate and credit markets.
In his early career, Russ spent six years in a variety of roles with Goldman Sachs & Co., with the final three years as a Financial Analyst in the Private Wealth Management division. In that role, Russ worked with a team of financial advisors who managed $1.5 billion in assets for approximately 30 families, many of whom held large single stock positions. He was responsible for asset allocation, trade execution and implementing options strategies where appropriate.
Russ has both a JD and an MBA (Magna Cum Laude) from Rutgers University in Camden, NJ and a BA in Economics and Political Science from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. He is licensed to practice law in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association, as well as the Estate and Financial Planning Council of Southern New Jersey. He is on the Alumni Steering Committee of the Rutgers Center for Corporate Law and Governance.
Russ resides in Lumberton, NJ with his wife, Michelle, and their three children, Charlotte (10), Caroline (7) and Chip (3). He spends his free time unsuccessfully trying to come up with ways to get some free time, though he does occasionally squeeze in a bike ride or help out at his daughters’ softball games. The family looks forward to a week in Stone Harbor, NJ at the end of each summer.
